At Silk Body Waxing Studio, every appointment is reserved for one client at a time.
These policies help appointments begin on time, remain consistent, and provide every client with the same high standard of service from beginning to end.
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted the following policies.
Before Booking
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Clients who prefer not to enter payment information online may contact the studio to arrange payment before scheduling. All payment methods follow the same booking, cancellation, refund, and rescheduling policies.
Booking & Self-Scheduling
Appointments may be booked in advance or, when available, the same day.
Appointment times are reserved exclusively upon receipt of full payment.
Appointments are not held, reserved, or removed from availability until payment has been received.
Online scheduling reflects real-time availability and is the fastest, most accurate way to book.
Clients may book, reschedule, or cancel appointments online anytime, day or night, without needing to contact the studio.
Short standalone appointments may be adjusted when necessary to coordinate with the day’s existing appointment schedule. If an alternate time cannot be accommodated, the appointment may be canceled and refunded.
Minimum Booking Requirement
Select short-duration services are available as companion services and must be booked with another waxing service or as part of an appointment meeting the minimum booking requirement. Services designated as companion services are not available as standalone appointments.
Appointment Scheduling
Because appointments are self-scheduled, appointment times may occasionally require a slight adjustment after booking to optimize the day's schedule and prevent overlap between appointments.
If an adjustment is needed, your appointment may be moved anywhere from 5 to 60 minutes, depending on availability. You will be notified well in advance by text message, email, or phone. If the new appointment time is inconvenient, simply contact the studio for another available time that works for you.
Appointment adjustments are made to maximize appointment availability, improve scheduling efficiency, not at random.

Please arrive no more than five minutes before your scheduled appointment.
Silk Body Waxing Studio is an appointment-only studio with limited waiting area.
Arriving early does not guarantee your appointment will begin early.
Out of respect for the client before you, appointments are never rushed or shortened because another client arrives ahead of schedule.
As a solo esthetics practice, time between appointments is reserved for sanitizing the studio, preparing for upcoming services, completing necessary tasks, and taking brief breaks when time allows. The studio may not always be open if you arrive early, but you can expect your appointment to begin at its scheduled time.
Thank you for respecting the privacy of other clients and the flow of the day’s schedule.
Late Arrivals
Appointments are held for 15 minutes beyond the scheduled start time.
Arriving later than 15 minutes may result in:

Walk-Ins & Same-Day Availability
Silk Body Waxing Studio is not a walk-in storefront.
Same-day appointments may occasionally be available but are never guaranteed.
If you are considering stopping by, calling first is strongly recommended.
Changes To Your Appointment
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Your prepayment is eligible for a full refund.
Providing at least 12 hours' notice gives another client a reasonable opportunity to book the appointment time. With less notice, that opportunity is significantly reduced, and the time reserved specifically for you often cannot be filled.
Service Changes
Service additions, removals, substitutions, or other changes are welcome whenever possible but cannot be guaranteed. All changes remain subject to appointment availability and sufficient time within the scheduled appointment.
Adding services may require a longer appointment or rescheduling if adequate time is unavailable.
Whenever possible, requests to add or change services should be made before your appointment rather than upon arrival.
During Your Appointment
Pregnancy
Pregnant clients are welcome at every stage of pregnancy unless advised otherwise by their physician or midwife.
With over 17 years of experience waxing clients throughout all stages of pregnancy, supportive positioning, pillows, and accommodating techniques are used whenever possible to support your comfort throughout the service.
Because hormonal changes, especially during the third trimester and near your due date, can increase skin sensitivity, discomfort may be greater than usual.
Every effort will be made to complete your service within the scheduled appointment time. To remain fair to all clients, appointments cannot be extended due to increased sensitivity, discomfort, or the need for additional breaks.
If a service cannot be completed within the allotted appointment time, any remaining areas can be finished during a future appointment.
Menstrual Cycle
Brazilian and bikini waxing may be performed during your menstrual cycle assuming that:
Services may be declined if sanitary conditions cannot be maintained.
Clients experiencing heavier flow or increased discomfort are encouraged to reschedule for their own comfort.
Brows & Facial Waxing
Scheduling & Availability
Standalone brow and facial waxing appointments are scheduled around longer reserved body and intimate waxing appointments and may have more limited availability.
Because these appointments occupy shorter time slots, they may occasionally require slight scheduling adjustments to maximize appointment availability and improve scheduling efficiency.
Booking additional services reserves more appointment time and significantly reduces the likelihood of schedule adjustments.
Cleanup
Brow Maintenance at Silk Body Waxing Studio is intended to maintain an existing brow shape, not create a new one.
Appointments are approximately 15–20 minutes and are designed to remove new growth while preserving your existing shape. This service is not intended to redesign, reconstruct, significantly thin, soften, raise the arch, or create a new brow shape.
If you're hoping for a noticeable change to your brows, please discuss your expectations before your appointment.
If your brows have been fully grown out, have lost their shape, or require extensive design work, this service may not be the best fit.
Due to scheduling limitations, a limited number of standalone Brow Cleanup appointments are available each day.
Facial Waxing & Skincare
Please inform the studio before your appointment if you've recently used retinoids, prescription acne medications, benzoyl peroxide, chemical exfoliants, or have received a chemical peel, laser treatment, microneedling, or another skin resurfacing procedure.
These treatments may increase the risk of skin lifting or irritation during facial waxing.
Children, Pets & Service Animals
If you plan to bring a child, pet, or service animal to your appointment, please contact the studio before booking or include a note with your appointment.
Due to the size of the studio, the nature of waxing services, and safety considerations, not every situation can be accommodated. Advance notice allows appropriate preparations to be made, any questions to be addressed, and reasonable accommodations to be made.
Clients who arrive with a child, pet, or animal without prior notice may need to reschedule if the appointment cannot be completed safely or without disrupting the scheduled service.
